A Bespoke Wine Cellar With A Twist
Capital Interiors provide highly bespoke design services for any architectural feature or completely unique interior setting.
Here we feature a wine cellar recently completed for an esteemed client. Our design director, Laurence Elley, took lead role in the design of one of the most important spaces in our client’s home. Laurence developed an extensive set of drawings tailored to the client’s brief and personally oversaw the production and completion of this beautiful setting.
The entirely bespoke design of elegant cabinetry had to be carefully coordinated alongside technical solutions for appropriate storage of our client’s prized wine collection.
Every detail was meticulously planned and managed to ensure outstanding quality in the creation of this highly sophisticated space.
Our design service for the interior of this wine cellar took deeper steps when we presented our client with an option to incorporate an intimate setting for dining or wine tasting around a large table in the centre of this grand yet private room.
The design prioritised symmetry and adopted deep and warm tones, with the scheme’s overall focus being the beautifully fluted plinths to both the table and adjacent consoles. Large mirrors with an antique finish reflect these features and provide the illusion of an even larger room. The table veneers and marble slabs were personally selected to ensure overall balance in colour, tone, texture and detail for the room.
